About Lasting Lessons
Our Mission
At Lasting Lessons, we strive to provide the best possible education to our students by creating an environment that fosters learning, growth, and personal development.
We specialise in supporting children with individualised intervention to meet their literacy and numeracy needs.
We work closely with children who have a diagnosis or show traits of Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Auditory Processing Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, cognitive challenges, and mental health considerations, such as anxiety or school can’t.
We pride ourselves in ensuring that children and their families are heard. With your permission, we work closely with your child’s teacher, and allied health professionals such as speech therapists and psychologists.
We are a fun and vibrant centre, and we enjoy stocking our prize trolley with kids’ ‘currency’.
If your child isn’t getting what they need from the traditional classroom or mainstream and commercialised tutoring, we’re here to support them with lifelong strategies that will assist them for school and beyond.
One-to-One Literacy Instruction and Intervention
Individualised one-to-one literacy lessons using the Multisensory Structured Language Education approach for learners in primary school and early secondary school.

Parent Advocacy
We take the business of empowering parents seriously
Providing support in: navigating the school system, locating allied health services, attending Student Support Group meetings, developing SMART goals for Individual Learning Plans and in offering a listening ear and an understanding heart.
Assessments
We can carry out a literacy and language assessment with a 30-minute consultation where you learn about your child’s specific literacy challenges and how to overcome them.
In addition, we can also provide a written literacy and language assessment report which you can provide to your child’s classroom teacher to provide further insight into much needed literacy supports
